I have both the Motion Boom and the Boom 2 and I couldn’t agree more with this video. The Boom 2 is super fun to listen to for EDM, Hip-Hop, Pop. But as soon as I play a rock song it becomes very dull. The Motion Boom is much more versatile for different genres even if it can’t play some of them as good as the Boom 2. If they put 2 midrange drivers instead of just one it wouldn’t been so much better

My friend recently got the Extreme 4, and we also thought that the bass was very bad, but that was until we discovered that the aura cast button actually makes the bass substantially better. For some reason, when you turn aura cast on the bass just improves, even without you connecting it to another speaker via aura cast

The EQ app is more than capable of getting it to sound however I want at 80% volume or less.

Hi Alan, Bit of a specific question.. I have a van that I live in and looking for a nice quality speaker, good deep bass, not fussed about lights but happy to have them…i don’t want a fixed curved handle if possible. Needs to be usb powered not mains. it will be used as our main sound system for everything from chilling to radio 2 to dubstep and dance party nights! …needs a 3.5mm aux in from a projector too for movie nights. I’ll mainly listen at 30-50% volume so good bass in that zone without having to be up louder would be👌🏼for music.. yet I also want a nice and neutral sound for Netflix/blurays Any suggestions would be great 👍🏼 cheers Ant

Well, now i officially lost my trust for oluv, after he posted another video where he promotes his uboom x, and this time taking a way older partybox 100, and mentioning size and weight every single second where we hear the bass difference between both, and he even says it's not a big difference, after the video against the bose max where he didn't even mention how smaller the bose is😂😂 Simply promotions. He says that the uboom x is going to cost the same as the flip 6😂😂

Hi Alan, I want to buy a speaker mostly for listening while driving (the speakers in my work car stopped working ... ) I'm not looking for volume and nasty, muffled bass, but clean bass, details, and a clear voice. I was thinking about the Party 2 but I understand that there is no USB connection for charging so I could keep it plugged. The other option is Neo 2. My question is should I take it instead? And how much better is the party 2? P.S I love your vibe, pleasure to watch your videos 👌👍

I bought it and it has worse bass than my JBL XTREME 3 ! I am reseling it now and leave my JBL - it has much much more bass than Boom 2 Plus ! What a crappy speaker anker soundcore made !

I would like to buy a new Bluetooth speaker. The sound is very important to me, I don't really care about functions or battery life. I used to have the h&k Onyx Studio 5 and that was the best speaker l've ever heard, I really liked the clean low bass. I also had the tribit blast which I didn't like. Which speaker could you recommend to me that has a really nice low bass or generally a very good sound. Price should not be over 400€. I currently have the following on my list: jbl boombox 3, H&k Onyx Studio 6/8, Go + Play 3, jbl encore, Teufel Boomster and w King x20 if there are any other good ones I am open to other suggestions. Which one has the best sound and which one has the best low bass?

Long post alert for the benefit of all after personally doing a blind test between Bose, Marshall, and Soundcore: I was looking to buy a Bluetooth speaker recently and saw a lot of UA-cam reviews on Bluetooth speakers - particularly Bose Flex and Marshall. I finally went to a store in Dubai and checked out Bose SL Flex, Bose Revolve plus 2, Marshall Emberton, Bose SL Mini 2 (SE), Soundcore Motion plus, Soundcore x600 and Soundcore Motion 300. I took a friend of mine and did a blind test with him, switching the sound between multiple speakers. My thoughts: Bose SL Flex vs Revolve plus vs SL Mini 2: Flex was smaller, but it gave stiff competition to Revolve in the sound dept, in fact sounding better than Revolve sometimes. The revolve has a very sweet tone and we felt it polishes the harsh sounds and gives out a smooth output, which you may not want while listening to say a live concert. The Flex may not be as sweet but it had incredible clarity and fullness, and given the price difference it did not make sense to go with the more expensive Revolve which was 2x the price of Flex. The Revolve’s micro USB proprietary charging was also a put off for me. The Mini 2 Special Edition was crap as I could barely hear its sound even in that small glass room. Vs The Souncore x600: x600 sounded great with the Spatial audio on, but it's not as portable, and didn't sound as good without Spatial Audio. Vs Marshall Emberton 2: Emberton was good but it simply could not match upto the Flex in giving those punchy outputs with clarity. Flex vs Motion 300: I was almost sure to buy the Bose Flex by now, and for the heck of it I tried the Soundcore Motion 300. I was blown away by Motion 300's clarity and power given that it's much cheaper than the Bose Flex. We played Hotel California, some Bollywood songs, instrumental music and chants on all speakers, and Motion 300 competed neck to neck with Revolve and Flex, in fact sounding better many a time. My friend who came along with me is into music production, and even he was surprised by the loudness and clarity of sound reproduction by Motion 300. It sounded better than Revolve most of the times, and went neck to neck with Flex (sometimes sounding even better). I finally ended up buying the Motion 300, and super happy for the purchase. I am sure there are better speakers out there but those could be more expensive. Motion 300 to me gave the best bang for the buck without compromising on sound quality. Negatives: My only big gripe is that both the Flex and Motion 300 don’t come with the 3.5 aux input (damn you Apple for starting this trend). And Motion 300 is a heavy speaker which is surprising given its size. I am not a sound expert but sharing my honest views as an average listener. Hope this helps

I had the stormbox 1 for almost 3 years and I can confirm that attaching that thing to your nose is one of the most pleasant sensations I’ve ever felt. After almost 3 years of intensive use, its microusb port broke, I’m searching its hier but I think I’ll go with the Soundcore motion boom since it’s only 72€ on Amazon

Hey, I just ordered charge 5 but after seeing reviews I think of returning it. I will mostly use it for my PC so the volume will be probably around 30-40%. What do you recommend guys ? I thought that clarity and good bass for low volumes will convince me but now I dont know :(

I gotta wonder about your x20, i just bought a pair and they dont have the odd sound your test unit does? Also, measuring, its missing some of the peak and dip in the highs yours does. Im wondering if your working on a different firmware or tuning? Im currently working on a flat on axis tuning for it, so I'm really noticing the differences between our units

Thank you for the in detail review where you went in on all the possible little things we otherwise couldn’t have known. I was thinking about getting one and am all in on the bass side of things, being a bit boomy and loud with the mid and low bass, can you tell me if I can balance it out on my own in the EQ within the app, in case I wanted to opt for a more balanced and rich sound? (I don’t have a big enough budget to get a JBL or Sony speaker so Soundcore seems to be a good bang for the buck with regards of what it is capable of) Thanks in advance and God bless ya
